Just back from a spectacular vacation to Standing Rock State Park, Chicago Illinois, and the Wisconsin Dells.  It was nice to have some family time and see some of the sites in the Midwest. I am including some of my favorite photos from an afternoon spent at the Shedd Aquarium, at their featured exhibit on jellyfish. They are such a beautiful and stunning subject matter, I wanted to share some of my favorite shots. Keep in mind these are all handheld, using available lighting. The architecture of these creatures is pretty amazing when you consider that they are only one cell thick, and yet they look so distinctively different from one species to another.
