Waking up to a final blast of snow this morning made me appreciate the coming change of seasons. With the long winter and epic snowfall the last few months, I am ready to think spring. It’s hard to believe the lakes around here were still covered in ice only two weeks ago. I drive by this pond nearly everyday, and I vowed to capture one last photo of the transition from ice to open water. Now only six more months or so until the next snowfall of the season. I can’t wait to go cross country skiing again.
